This page shows pictures of Damon playing bass and taking on lead vocals for the band Bande a Part.

Damon was still only 16 years old during his time with Bande a Part. The band was formed with school friends Dilip Shukla (guitar) and David Eggleton (Drums). However, a brass section was added later to give the band a more mature and richer soundl. Of course the brass section brought in were family members Calvin Shulman (Alto sax) and Phil Shulman (Trumpet and Tenor sax). The band was relatively short lived but caused a bit of a stir while it existed.
